Boutique creative studio · Copenhagen

We build worlds
people want
to step into.

Identity, creative direction and digital experiences for stories worth remembering.

Story first. Always.

The studio

More than
a brand.

Stories deserve more than decoration. They deserve a world that makes people feel something before a single word is spoken.

Dear Blues blends strategy, storytelling and design into one coherent experience — thoughtful, cinematic and unmistakably yours.

Inside the studio · From feeling to form

What we create

From essence to experience.

01

Story & Brand Strategy

We uncover the emotional truth at the heart of your work — and shape a world around it.

02

Visual Identity

A complete visual language: art direction, typography, colour, imagery and the details that make it yours.

03

Digital Worlds

Websites that feel less like pages and more like stepping into the beginning of a story.

04

Creative Direction

One clear vision across campaigns, content, launches and every place your audience meets you.

A dark cinematic coastline suggesting a world waiting to be entered

Worldbuilding, not decoration

Atmosphere is
a form of direction.

It tells people what to feel before they know what to think.

Selected worlds

Different stories.
Distinct experiences.

Every identity begins with the same question: what should someone feel when they enter it? The answer is different every time.

01Live, not conceptual

Every featured world is built, launched and available to experience.

02One creative line

Strategy, identity, direction and digital craft remain under one vision.

03Direct collaboration

You work closely with the person shaping and building the world.

The person behind the studio

Katherine Jensen
/ Kate Blues

Creative director · storyteller · worldbuilder

Katherine Jensen is the creative mind behind Dear Blues — working where identity, atmosphere and digital experience meet.

Under the name Kate Blues, she writes cinematic fiction about the stories we survive but rarely speak about. Through Dear Blues, she brings the same instinct for emotional worldbuilding to authors, artists, filmmakers and creatively led businesses.

One person. Two names. The same belief: story shapes everything.
We do not begin with what your brand should look like. We begin with what someone should feel when they enter it.

Dear Blues · Story & Brand Studio

The collaboration

A considered journey.
One clear direction.

Every project is shaped around the story, but the path remains transparent from the first conversation to launch.

01

Discover

We uncover the emotional centre, audience and ambition behind the work.

02

Shape

Strategy, structure and the visual language become one coherent direction.

03

Build

Identity, content and digital experience are crafted, tested and refined.

04

Launch

The world goes live with clarity, care and a foundation built to grow.

Investment

Built around the story.
Scoped around the need.

Some stories need a clear foundation. Others need an entire world.

Dear Blues is a small, hands-on studio — not a production line. Engagements range from focused creative direction to complete identity and digital experiences, and each one is considered for fit, timing and the attention it needs.
